EasyResearch Weekly Dividends Update

In this week's update, most of the companies from America pay dividends quarterly: in January, April, July, and October. These include:

  • Procter & Gamble: Household goods giant behind beauty staples and cleaning essentials.
  • Colgate-Palmolive: Oral care innovator and personal hygiene powerhouse.
  • Caterpillar Inc.: Construction and mining kingpin building the world's infrastructure.
  • Dell Technologies Inc.: From PCs to the cloud, a tech titan powering the digital age.

Companies that pay monthly dividends are Gladstone Investment Corp, Gladstone Land Corp (from the US market), and Kelly Partners Group Holdings Limited (Australia).

Several JSE-listed ETFs (exchange-traded funds) from Satrix and 10X Investments are also preparing to pay dividends.

In other corporate actions, two prominent companies in the retail investors' community, Purple Group Limited and Sasol Limited, are hosting their Annual General Meetings (AGMs) this week:

  • Purple Group, owner of EasyEquities, EasyProperties, EasyAsset Management, GT247.com, EasyRetire, and EasyCrypto, is a JSE-listed fintech company with more than 50% ownership by retail investors.
  • Sasol's AGM will also take place later this week. As one of the largest oil companies in South Africa that produces oil from coal, Sasol postponed its AGM after the initial meeting was interrupted by climate activists. The oil giant is among the most bought stocks on the EasyEquities platform.
