EasyResearch weekly dividends update

During this week, there are 31 companies approaching their last trading dates: 16 from South Africa, eight from the United States, six from Australia, and one from the United Kingdom.

Some of the local companies preparing to pay dividends include Thungela Resources, Cashbuild, Aspen, Woolworths, and Truworths. Compagnie Financiere Richemont SA will pay an ordinary and a special dividend, while Sibanye Stillwater Ltd will pay in both the South African and American markets.

Kelly Partners Group Holdings Ltd, Main Street Capital Corp, and Gladstone Investment Corporation are among the companies that pay dividends monthly, with Gladstone and Main Street paying for the second time this month.

In other corporate actions:

  • Prosus is currently undergoing a capitalisation issue (also known as a bonus issue), and this week, qualifying investors will receive shares they won't have to pay for.
  • It's the last week for qualifying shareholders to take up Nampak's rights offer.
  • AngloGold Ashanti has finalized its reorganisation, moving its main listing to the American market (NYSE) with a secondary inward listing on the JSE.
