EasyResearch weekly dividends update

Satrix is in the process of closing three exchange-traded funds: the Satrix Volatility Managed SA Defensive Equity ETF (STXDEQ), High Growth Equity ETF (STXGEQ), and Moderate Equity (STXMEQ). This week represents the last opportunity to trade these shares, and the final offer will apply to those who remain invested until 26 September 2023.

Furthermore, there are 49 companies with upcoming last dates to trade: 25 from the United States, 11 from Australia, six from the United Kingdom, and seven from South Africa.

Some companies, including Sun International, Keurig Dr Pepper Inc, Deere & Co, and Mondelez International Inc, have recently increased their dividend payouts.

For companies offering an annual dividend yield between 8% and 14% at the time of writing:

• AGNC Investment Corp, a real estate investment trust (REIT), pays a monthly dividend and boasts a 14% annual dividend yield.
• Annaly Capital Management, a prominent capital manager specializing in residential and commercial asset investments and financing, pays a quarterly dividend with a 13% annual yield.
• Innovation Industrial Properties Inc, another REIT, pays quarterly dividends with an annual dividend yield of 8%.

In other upcoming corporate actions this week: 

• Kellogg Company will split into Kellanova and WK Kellogg Co, a leading food company in the U.S. The company is changing its name to Kellanova, and shareholders will additionally receive one (1) WK Kellogg Co share for every four (4) shares they own.
• Honda Motor Co Ltd is set to undergo a stock split for its US listing, where each share (1) will be split into three shares.
