Booking Holdings Inc. announced its first ever quarterly dividend, and the last day to buy shares that qualify for the payout is within the week.

Most companies on this list are preparing to pay their first dividend for this year. These include:

• NVIDIA Corporation: a leading graphics processing units (GPU) manufacturer for gaming and artificial intelligence (AI) markets, has seen its stock price surge by more than 250% in the past 12 months.
• BlackRock Inc: one of the world's largest asset managers and among the first to list a Bitcoin Spot ETF (also available on EasyEquities); Bitcoin's price surged more than 160% over the past year.
• B2Gold Corp: a gold mining company operating in Mali, Namibia, and the Philippines, offers a 6% dividend yield and has maintained a steady quarterly dividend since mid-2020. Gold prices are currently trading at a record high.

Cigna Corp, Occidental Petroleum Corp, Ametek Inc, and Constellation Energy Corp Inc are some of the companies that increased their quarterly dividend:

• Constellation Energy Corp +25%
• Occidental Petroleum Corp +22%
• Cigna Corp, an American +13%
• Ametek Inc +12%

There are also several companies preparing to pay multiple payments, like Main Street Capital Corp, which dividends monthly. This month it will also pay a supplemental dividend, which will be paid out of the company's untapped income. Smartgroup Corporation Limited and Helia Group Limited will be paying a dividend that consists of a special and ordinary dividend.
