Companies are ready to pay dividends soon, and big names are releasing earnings this week. If a company outperforms market expectations, its stock may potentially rally. For the fourth quarter of 2023 (4Q’23), according to Nasdaq, some of these names include:

• Pfizer: Expected loss per share (LPS) of $0.19 | 4Q’22 earnings per share (EPS) were $1.14.
  
• General Motors: Expected EPS of $1.08 | 4Q’22 reported EPS of $2.12.
  
• Microsoft Corp: EPS of $2.76 expected | $2.23 reported 4Q’22.
  
• Starbucks Corp: EPS of $0.93 expected | $0.75 reported 4Q’22.
  
• Meta Platform: EPS of $4.81 expected | $3 reported 4Q’22.
  
• Apple Inc: EPS of $2.09 expected | $1.88 reported 4Q’22.
  
• Amazon.com: EPS of $0.81 expected |$0.21 reported 4Q’22.
  
• Advanced Micro Devices Inc. ‘AMD’: EPS of $0.58 expected | $0.54 reported 4Q’22.

There's another special dividend on the way; Incitec Pivot Limited will return up to AU$1 billion to shareholders from the sale of its ammonia facility. AU$500 million will be used for capital return and a special dividend, and $500 million is part of a share buyback that commenced in December 2023 and ends in December 2024.

Companies that pay monthly dividends include EPR Properties, Stag Industrial Inc, AGNC Investment Corp, and Realty Income Corp.
