This week marks another round of earnings reports, with companies like Walmart, Cisco Systems, and The Home Depot preparing to disclose their financial results. In the local market, MTN Group, Exxaro Resources, and Gold Fields are also expected to release their reports.
As for companies approaching their last trading dates, there are 43, of which 25 are from America, eight are from the United Kingdom, five from South Africa, and another five from Australia.
Take note that some of these companies will pay in 2 different currencies. GSK PLC (known for brands like ENO, Aquafresh, and Med-Lemon) will pay its dividends in dollars and pounds. Investec, one of the biggest financial service providers in South Africa will also distribute in pounds and rands.
Adcorp Holdings, a leading workforce solutions company, will be paying a special dividend on top of its ordinary dividend.
