EasyResearch weekly dividends update

This week, there are 27 companies with upcoming last trade dates: 17 are from America, seven from South Africa, two from Australia, and one from the United Kingdom.

On Wednesday last week, the Federal Reserve released the annual bank stress test results. The results showed that large banks had sufficient capital to absorb losses. Following this, several large banks in America started planning to increase their dividend payouts. 

Our latest update also features companies (from different industries) with growing dividends. General Mills Inc is an American-based consumer food company operating in 100 countries. The company has a history of paying dividends for 124 years, and recently increased its payout by 9%; it has operations in 100 countries. Mastercard Inc's dividend per share (DPS) is up 16% in 2023 compared to the DPS paid last year in the same period.

AECOM, an infrastructure consultation company with a presence in over 150 countries (listed in the US), initially started paying dividends in 2022. The company has stated its plans to increase its dividend per share by a double-digit percentage annually. The payouts in 2023 are 20% higher than the previous year's dividend per share (DPS) in the same period.

In South Africa, Alexander Forbes Group Holdings' final dividend payout is up 35% from last year's final payout, and the annual DPS is up 31% from last year.

Let's talk about special dividends; in Australia, GrainCorp Ltd, a diversified Australian-based agribusiness with operations in more than 50 countries, will pay a dividend that consists of an ordinary and special dividend.
